From Bottles To Balloons
Whilst on maternity leave from her London based marketing role, Lisa Dack successfully launched a new online Partyware and Fancy Dress business.
Following 12 years experience in Brand Management, Lisa founded Party Store alongside husband Simon, to fulfil her dream of becoming a stay-at-home mum to her 10 month old son, Lucas.
“As a mother of a young child, I created Party Store to offer busy parents like myself a website that offers everything you need to organise wonderful parties,” said Lisa
With her husband Simon, Lisa gained a large knowledge of the industry over the past 3 years and aims to use her vast marketing experience to create a Partyware brand that appeals to parents of young children. They operate the business from a converted section of their Kent home.
“We have identified an opportunity in the market that I hope will appeal to young Mum’s and Dad’s, as well as schools, dance and theatre groups.”
Lisa is aiming to grow the business to become one of the UK’s favourite partyware brands, by focusing on brand image, product selection and personal service.
Lisa commented; “We recently launched our Facebook and Twitter pages to promote Party Store’s image and to highlight the benefits of our website. I’ve been delighted with the response to date and our growing fan base has been overwhelming. Being a family business, we’re still able to provide a personal touch to all that we do.“
